Seeking Verity
Seeking Verity is a modern Hard Rock, Nu-Metal Group with elements of EDM, Metalcore and early rap-rock/rap-metal. The style of music is for those that appreciate melodic hard rock, rap-rock and nu-metal and want to enjoy a modern feel to the sound but not over powered with double bass drums.
My Story
“We formed this group because we have a strong passion for emotionally driven lyrics and do not want an overpowering guitar or double bass drums to take away from the lyrical emotion being delivered through the songs".
The original lyrics and emotion within each song has metaphoric language that is vague yet resonates with someone that needs to express the mental struggles they are going through. Seeking Verity was formed emerging with a new sound that blends several sub-genres in the modern rock music genre.
Seeking Verity is an emerging Hard Rock/Metal act that released its debut EP, Nowhere to Hide, on January 1, 2026.

Release Date: February 14, 2026
Their primary 2026 release is the 4-track EP Nowhere to Hide, which is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
"THERAPY" 2026, is a song that uses a metaphor about climbing a mountain, mentally racing to the top of a summit but on the way there you have to fight through obstacles like fear and doubt.
The Struggle for Control: The lyrics describe a "war in the head" where the narrator feels they are losing their grip, both mentally and physically.
Environmental Isolation: References to "tighter laces," "bite of the freeze," and "boulders" suggest that the world feels cold and dangerous when one is struggling mentally.
This song has become a standout for the band because it addresses the modern "mental health search". Fans often use the track as an anthem for blowing off steam or as a way to feel seen in their darkest moments
"Be UnAFRAID" 2026, is a song that uses an analogy about being in an open ocean dealing with a violent storm that crashes into you and metaphorically compares to intrusive thoughts in your mind as you are trying to overcome a problem or situation.
Emotional Overload: Lyrics like "Oceans swell inside my mind" and "Drowning with no escape" portray a battle with one's own "reality" when the world feels unkind.
The Command "Hush, Trust": The bridge and chorus repeat the phrases "Hush, trust. Be unafraid" as a mantra to self-soothe and stabilize during a panic-inducing experience.
The "Anchor": A pivotal line identifies the narrator’s strength as an external or spiritual support—"the anchor is Your right Hand that holds me true"—which helps them "see it through" until they are stabilized.
Resilience: Despite the "tossing and turning," the song ultimately lands on a message of hope: "It's Fine - we'll be OK. There's so much MORE life to live".
Following the band's signature style, this track features soaring, anthemic choruses that contrast with more technical drumming and heavy riffs, intended to evoke the feeling of "crashing waves" mentioned in the lyric
"Hell in a Cell" 2026, is a song known for its darker, heavier instrumentation, this track is a staple of their live performances and delves into feelings of being trapped by one's own mind.
The Internal Prison: The "cell" represents a state where the narrator feels trapped by their own problems.
Lyrics like "The walls are closing in" and "No way out but through" emphasize a feeling of claustrophobia.
The Vicious Circle: The song highlights a cycle of recovery and relapse. It describes the exhausting process of this cycle.
"X-Out" (Featuring Artist Return2Novi) depict a forceful rejection of a narcissistic or weighing presence in the narrator's life.
Letting Go: The song uses the phrase "X-Out" as a metaphor for completely removing or "crossing out" someone who no longer contributes positively to one's life.
Confronting Narcissism: Key lyrics like "Feed the narcissist who claims he's a prisoner of war" highlight a struggle against someone who uses their own trauma to manipulate others.
Empowerment: The chorus emphasizes finality and consequences, with lines such as "The door closed means goodbye" and "Here's the severance we owe you".
